Supporting an Education Association Through Clear Content

MAASE, the Michigan Association of Administrators of Special Education, serves a diverse membership with complex needs. Clear, consistent communication is essential.

I partnered with the MAASE team to support content initiatives designed to better communicate programs, services, and value to their membership.

The Challenge

Like many associations, MAASE needed content that:

  • Informed without overwhelming

  • Educated without sounding academic

  • Helped members understand available resources

The Approach

The focus was on simplifying language, organizing information, and creating content that members could actually use.

Rather than adding more content, the goal was to improve clarity and accessibility.

The Results

The content supported stronger engagement and helped reinforce MAASE’s role as a trusted resource for special education leaders.
